On 4/04/2015 the Physiology Society , KGMC , Lucknow organized All India Physiology Quiz competition. Teams from AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS Patna , MLB-MC Jhansi, GSVM Kanpur ,MLN-MC Allahabad and various other prestigious government and medical colleges participated in it.
The quiz commenced with a knockout round in which six out of the twelve teams were eliminated. The subsequent MCQ and visual questions round got all the participants to put on their thinking caps.
The next round based on clinical problems which give students an exposure to the clinical settings was well appreciated by the honourable Vice Chancellor.
Lastly, the rapid fire round proved to be a riveting, with a quick succession of questions being bombarded at the participants. The quiz master, Dr. Sandeep Bhattacharya, kept the audience engrossed with open questions.
Ultimately, Shobhit Garg and Somil Singh of KGMC, emerged victorious. The second and third place were bagged by S. Shamsker Kalra and Ashish Gupta of AIIMS Bhopal and Akshay Kumar and B. Divya of AIIMS New Delhi, respectively.

Activities:
Every year, the Dramatic Society organizes a 'Medifest' or a week long festival in which other colleges are invited to participate. This is a veritable feast of cultural activities. Competitions are held in English/Hindi plays, music (both vocal and instrumental), dances, choreography, skits, debate, painting, fashion show, rock show etc. The medifest in December 2003 was called "Zephyr". An intersemester competition called 'Thrill" is also held. Besides, the Dramatic Society organizes the cultural program on College Day.

Activities:
Sports Day is organised by the Athletics Association, usually held in the 2nd week of December. Inter semester sports competitions for men and women students are held in running (long and short distance), long jump, high jump, discus throwing, javelin throw, weight lifting, pillow fight, intersemester football, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis etc. There are competitions among teachers also. The high point of the event is a cricket match among the teachers (College Eleven Vs Hospital Eleven). The Annual Fete is also organised along with the Sports Day. There are a number of games and food stalls, and a music request counter.
This society is affiliated to the Anatomical Society of India and its U.P. Chapter. Every student of 1st and 2nd semester MBBS and 1st year BDS are made members of this society. The Staff Executive consists of the faculty members of the Department of Anatomy. A Student Executive is selected by a staff panel. The annual function of the Anatomical Society is held in the 3rd semester.
