Department of Medical Education was created on 19th July 2014 vide hon'ble Vice Chancellor's order number 188 GA.VC. It is housed in Administrative Block (erstwhile CEU).

Objectives
The objectives of this trans-disciplinary department are:
Ensure  Faculty development
Promote innovations in medical education and research
Execute programs on the directives of the medical council of India as the MCI regional center for revised basic course met program
Develop national and international linkages for knowledge exchange

Stakeholders
The primary stakeholders are the faculty, students and staff of King George's medical University,Â
The benefits will also extend to other institutions, both medical and non-medical, and society at large.
