Neurology department is committed for academic progress of students. Academic activities are being conducted regularly thrice a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). To enhance clinical reasoning and reaching to appropriate diagnosis case-discussions are done. Seminar presentations are meant for enhancing fund of knowledge in all aspects of neurology including neuro-radiology and electrophysiology. Students also update their knowledge by presenting recent journals. Monthly MCQ based assessment is done for evaluation. Students are given hands on training in electrophysiology and EEG.
Regular CMEs are organized for updates. Students are encouraged to participate and attend various national conferences. Emphasis on publications by residents is constantly made. Guest lectures by prominent persons in field of statistics and medical writing are being conducted routinely.
Regular Log book is maintained to record the work and experience of residents.
Departmental Library and Central Univeristy Library provides latest books and journals. University provides Wifi campus with online availability of wide number of latest journals, free access to Uptodate.com and clinical key.com.
Undergraduate lectures and ward clinics are the part of MBBS curriculum which gives exposure to neurology at an early stage.
